Fantastic experience with Anton’s Travel and our amazing driver Lucky! We highly recommend Anton’s Travel, and especially our wonderful driver Lakshman, whom we were lucky enough to call “Lucky” during our trip! We had already planned our own route and booked our hotels, but Anton and Lakshman took care of everything else for us, including arranging train tickets and excursions. Communication via WhatsApp and phone was always very pleasant, clear and easy. We always knew exactly what to expect, which made travelling around Sri Lanka completely stress-free. Our trip started with a lovely surprise when we arrived at the airport and were welcomed with beautiful flowers. Such a warm way to begin our holiday! Lakshman was an absolutely fantastic driver and guide throughout our journey. He knew all the best places to visit, great local spots along the way and the tastiest restaurants. He was always there with a big smile on his face – and he definitely put plenty of smiles on ours too! We had an absolutely fantastic holiday in Sri Lanka, and Anton and Lakshman played a huge part in making it so special. Everything was well organised, personal and relaxed from beginning to end. Amazing service A year ago we made the decision to visit Sri Lanka and Anton was recommended to me. We are a family that likes to plan our own trips and usually self drive and so I was apprehensive about a driver. However I am now a convert! From day 1 Anton helped us by arranging a call and suggested a better route but it didn't seem like interfering but genuinely good advice. We were free to book all our own accommodation and did a mixture of hotels, homestays and airbnbs. We didn't have to worry about driver accommodation, it was all included in the price. Our driver was Eranga who was fabulous, his driving skills were incredible and he would take us wherever we wanted and would also make great suggestions too. Everywhere we went he would stay with us until we were checked in and made sure all was good. It didn't matter what time of day (or evening) we wanted to go somewhere, he would be there to take us. At meal times he would sometimes join us and sometimes not - it was a really nice balance. Overall I would thoroughly recommend Anton for booking your trip to Sri Lanka. most beautiful journeys in Azië Four Unforgettable Weeks in Sri Lanka & the Maldives We spent four wonderful weeks travelling, combining an unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka with a 5 stay in the Maldives. Looking back, we can honestly say that a huge part of what made this trip so special was Anton Travel Sri Lanka and our amazing driver, Chamila. From the very beginning, Anton kept his word. Everything he promised us beforehand, he delivered and even more. He completely took the stress out of travelling. Everything was well organized, he was always available when needed, and he made sure we could simply relax and enjoy every moment. A very special thank you goes to Chamila. Not only an excellent driver, but also a genuinely kind, patient and caring person. Always punctual, helpful and professional. Most importantly, our safety was always his number one priority. We felt completely safe and comfortable with him throughout our journey. What touched us most was the genuine hospitality and personal attention from both Anton and Chamila. It never felt like “just a service”. They truly cared about our experience and wanted us to discover the beauty, culture and people of Sri Lanka. After four weeks of travelling, including our time in the Maldives, we came home with countless beautiful memories. But Sri Lanka truly captured our hearts and Anton and Chamila played a very special part in making us fall in love with this beautiful country. Professionalism, reliability, hospitality, punctuality and safety: 10/10. Anton promised us that we would be well taken care of, and he kept his word every step of the way. That means a lot to us. A Truly Personalised and Unforgettable Sri Lanka Experience We spent 11 nights travelling around Sri Lanka with Anton Travel as a family of four. We usually plan all our trips independently, so we were a little sceptical about having a private driver as we thought it might limit our freedom. It was exactly the opposite. Anton organised online meetings with us before our trip to create a completely personalised itinerary. Even while we were in Sri Lanka, activities, stops and timings were adjusted according to what we wanted. Our driver, Sanju, was fantastic. He is young, caring, friendly, always smiling and a pleasure to spend time with. He booked restaurants for us, both those we had chosen ourselves and others he recommended, and every recommendation was excellent. All the safaris, snorkelling and other experiences were private for our family, making the trip feel very special. Unlike some companies, there was never any pressure to stop at souvenir shops. Instead, whenever we asked for something specific, Sanju was always happy to help. Some of our favourite moments were the spontaneous stops at roadside fruit stalls where we tasted delicious fresh tropical fruits. Sanju accompanied us on some treks and helped us move smoothly from one activity to the next, making everything easier and helping us save valuable time. During our holiday, one family member needed medical assistance in the evening. We messaged Sanju and he immediately organised everything, and the medical care we received was outstanding—honestly better than what we have experienced in many Western countries. The vehicle was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and always cool with excellent air conditioning. Sanju was always punctual and greeted us every morning with enthusiasm. He always provided us with bottled water. We met Anton twice during our stay, but he stayed in contact with us throughout the trip. He also took the time to book our Nanu Oya to Ella train journey exactly as we wanted. On the day, Sanju accompanied us to the station, made sure we boarded the correct train and found our seats, then met us again after our stop at Nine Arch Bridge. We leave Sri Lanka with wonderful memories and will truly miss both Sanju and Anton. Thank you for making our family holiday so special. Most amazing trip! We travelled with Anton travel for 16 days throughout Sri Lanka as a group of 3 with our 9 year old son. Anton and our driver Liberty were welcoming us at the airport with a bouquet of flowers and a hearty smile. We felt at home from that very minute. Our driver Liberty was amazing, not only did he drive very skillfully but he was going above and beyond every day to ensure we had the best trip. He had plenty of good recommendations for sightseeing, food and all sorts of experiences on the way, always on time, always helpful, always going out of his way to make our trip more enjoyable. We have travelled the world but have rarely seen somebody working up to this standard! Communication with Anton himself before the trip for organization as well as during the tour was great too. And Sri Lanka is absolutely worth the visit. We cried as we had to get back to the airport. Thank you so much and keep up the good work gentlemen. 2 week Family holiday to Sri Lanka with teens We have just come back from a glorious 2 weeks in Sri Lanka and used Anton’s service for recommendations on where to go and what to visit. Anton met us at the airport with gifts and introduced us to our driver Eranga who looked after us and guided us around the island. This made the trip so relaxing easy and interesting. It is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. My teens are 15 and 13 and my 13yo turned 14 whilst we were away and everyone made a huge fuss of her and she had more cake than she could eat. Nothing was too much trouble for Anton and Eranga. This is definitely the way to see this incredible place. Having a friendly guide with you who knows all the stops and to help you engage with all the locals helped this become one of the best holidays ever. Thank you so much!!
